Plastiki


Plastiki is the ship made of plastics which is heaing for Sidney.
This ship is for reusing the plastic bottles thrown away by Americans.
On the website, plastiki.com, it tells that plastiki had traveled 76 nautical miles today and in total of 843 it had traveled in 11days.
And what's more, the lenght of the plastic bottles are now 481536 and also there are 0.0080% of all plastic bottles throen away by Americans today!
Also, roughly 50% of all plastic products end up in the ocean.

Also, you went to the Plastiki website and checked it out. Me too. I want to follow them on their voyage.

By the way, why are they actually doing this? It's not to show how bottles can be reused?

Cool picture Yuki !
You did a good job because you gave us a lot of details about the plastiki and how much trash the Americans throw away. The only thing that was missing was the reason they're technically doing this.
